The island of Budelli is an unspoiled gem, with breathtaking landscapes. Together with the islands of Santa Maria and the nearby Spargi, it is the most interesting and unspoiled part of the National Park of La Maddalena.
With 1.6 square kilometers of area, the island of Budelli offers a beautiful view of granite rocks and lush vegetation, interspersed with white beaches.
The most famous is the Pink Beach, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean beaches, whose sand is colored by minute fragments of a microscopic sea creature, the Miniacinia miniacea.
Eternal myth and symbol of the island, the pink beach has always been celebrated for its extraordinary color, immortalized by Michelangelo Antonioni, who in 1964 directed here a famous scene of his film "Deserto Rosso".
